Let's Talk China is a small Canadian company based in Winnipeg, set up to facilitate business dealings between China and the rest of the world.
We saw that there was a need to provide basic networking and language assistance services to the many small to mid-size companies who wanted to do business with China.
We provide various kinds of language tranlsation, interpretation and culture and language training programs to help bridge the gaps between these very different cultures.
Our services are very affordably priced making it much easier for small companies to explore the business opportunities in the Orient.
The founder of the company is Ms. Jasmine Lee, a Hong Kong emigree who left her home land in the late 1970s to study in the United States.
Ms Lee has lived and worked in Canada and the United States for the last 20 years working primarliy as a computer Oracle database consultant.
She received her bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics in the United States at the Oregon State University.
She moved back to Hong Kong after graduating where she was responsible for writing the main business systems for Jardine Matheson, one of Chinas largest companies.
She also developed systems for the Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering company and many others before becoming an Oracle database consultant in the United States.
She worked and has lived in many US states including Oregon, Ohio, Maryland, Florida and Georgia and has travelled across Canada.
She has also worked in countries like Vietnam, Tailand and Taiwan.
She has lived in Winnipeg for the last 4 years and is becoming a part of the Canadian and Chinese fabric of the city.
Jasmine has many contacts with business and personal relations in Hong Kong and many other parts of the world due to the power of the Internet and affordable long distance phone calls.
Ms. Lee speaks and writes both Mandarin and Cantonese (the two main languages of China).
She studied Feng Shui and Chinese medicine while in Hong Kong and continues to practice it in Winnipeg for clients here and around the world, again with thanks again to the powers of the Internet.
